Marc Pollier has been playing the uilleann pipes since 1979. Between 1986 and 1989 he lived in Birmingham and performed with local Irish musicians such as Kevin Crawford, Mick Connelly, Paul O'Driscoll and many others.

Marc currently performs and teaches the uilleann pipes throughout Europe. He has been living in Ennis, Co Clare, for 5 years and has performed with many renowned musicians such as John Faulkner, Siobhan Peoples, Jesse Smith, Josephine Marsh.

Since 2003 he plays in the band EITRE based in Sweden. He also joined other bands since he went back to France and plays with musicians from Brittany such as Jean-Michel Veillon and Ronan Pellen.
