The Club's third Annual Burns Night took place at the Marketplace Theatre on Saturday. Following the traditional format, the haggis was piped in by Conall Curran and the Address to the Haggis performed by Leila Trainor. The Burns Supper prepared by the Stage Restaurant was a great success, and a performance of Burns songs, Scottish music and dances performed by the Club's musicians concluded an enjoyable night. The Club welcomed home local accordion player, Leo McCann, resident in Scotland for many years, along with his wife, artist Linda Garten, and new baby son, Eoin.

The haggis was piped in by Conal Curran better known for his uilleann piping but equally at home with both the Scottish Highland pipes and their close cousin the Scottish small pipes.
